Figs | USA Home Delivery | Wholesale | Bulk | Export

Figs present a flavor profile that blends sweetness with a touch of earthiness. The taste of a ripe fig is frequently likened to honey, featuring a luscious and jam-like texture. The delicate outer skin offers a subtle chewiness, while the interior, adorned with tiny seeds, provides a gratifying crunch. A mild floral essence in their aroma adds a nuanced complexity to the overall sensory experience. Figs may also exhibit hints of caramel and a discreet nuttiness, contributing to their overall decadent and sweet character. This intricate fusion of flavors renders figs a versatile fruit, well-suited for both direct consumption and a range of culinary uses, including salads, desserts, and pairings with cheeses and charcuterie. Figs are a nutritious fruit, rich in dietary fiber and they provide vitamins such as vitamin K, A, B6, and C. In terms of minerals, figs offer potassium, magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, and iron. Figs also contain antioxidants, particularly polyphenols, which help combat free radicals. Their natural sweetness comes from sugars like glucose, fructose, and sucrose, providing a quick energy boost.
